Viticulture and Winemaking Angove’s Regent Brut is a non-vintage sparkling wine made by the traditional ‘methode champenoise’. By this technique a secondary ferment is introduced to the base wine which is then allowed to age on yeast lees for an extended period. The lees sediment is then disgorged and after the addition of the ‘liqueur d’expedition’, a short settling/integration period takes place before final packaging.
Winekers Notes This is a full-flavoured sparkling wine with a creamy, rich complexity showing fresh fruit flavours and a characteristic toastiness. Angove’s Regent Brut is an elegant yet fresh and lively Australian sparkling wine perfect for everyday enjoyment with or without food.
