Verdelho & Shiraz
Verscato is Tulloch's fabulous new slightly pink and slightly sparkling take on the more traditional Moscato style. Pretty and pink, what more could you ask for in a wine!
In 2008 Tulloch decided to add a Moscato to our cellar door only range. Unfortunately the weather gods had other ideas and unrelenting rain during the 2008 season meant we couldn't pick our Muscat fruit. Not to be deterred, we set about to make a style of wine in the same vein as Moscato but from what we are most well known for - Verdelho.
Moscato is generally low in alcohol with a slight spritz and a hint of sweetness. We have captured all of this and more with our Tulloch Verscato, with funky and fun packaging to boot.
The Verscato is only 8% alcohol and is the perfect accompaniment for brunch or lovely as an aperitif or dessert wine. Versatile and pretty, what more could you ask for in a wine?
