Tyrrell ’s Old Winery range is named after its historic winery in the Hunter Valley, built in 1863 for the first vintage in 1864. A classic range of wines produced using fruit from premium Australian wine regions, Old Winery delivers distinctive varietal character and outstanding quality synonymous with the Tyrrell’s name. Designed for immediate enjoyment, the Old Winery promise is to provide a quality wine to suit every palate preference at a refreshingly affordable price.
Winemakers Notes
Produced from some of Tyrrell’s top vineyards, the fruit was machine harvested early in the vintage. The base wine received some short term lees contact which has added to the depth and richness of the wine. Alc 13.3%.
