The Bird in Hand Cabernet Sauvignon has been aged for over 18 months in tight grained French oak. This limited release is an elegant example of classic varietal Cabernet.

Colour It is deep purple in colour,

Aroma exhibiting a rich and strogly varietal nose of blackcurrant, blackberry and black plums together with subtle aromas of toasty oak and spice.

Palate The palate initially displays concentrated ripe fruit and subtle oak that mirror the aromas. The mid palate offers a savoury complexity enhancing the varietal fruit and subtle nuances. Silky but firm grainy tannins round out the finish, providing structure and outstanding aging potential.

Cellar It is drinking beautifully now and will age gracefully developing cedar and cigar box characteristics over time.
