Big Helga is a Munich style dry lager – big by name, strong bodied and well rounded. Big Helga is a beer that is easy to drink, but still has a level of complexity that will keep the keen beer lover interested.

Big Helga was inspired by the Munich “Oktoberfest” lagers – also known as Helles lagers.
Big Helga pours to a golden amber hue, slightly deeper than mainstream lagers and is capped with a densely packed white head.

Using home grown malted barley Big Helga is brewed in the traditional all malt brewing method – meaning they don’t add brewing adjuncts like sugar. After fermentation they dry hop using Pacifica hops, which produce a refreshing fruity hop aroma.

Big Helga would also go a treat with a big continental sausage and mash Or a mixed plate of Spanish tapas
