Aroma Cooks Lot Pinot Gris has aromas of cut pear with floral overtones.
Palate The palate is fresh showing crisp pear and nougat with delicate mineral notes
Cellar The Cooks Lot Pinot Gris will develop over the next 2-3 years with cool storage.
Vintage
The 2009 Cooks Lot vintage experienced a good chilling period during the winter , a cool wet spring then 14 days of very hot weather in early summer but a cool harvest.
Vinification
Delicate pressing with mostly free run juice fermented in cold stainless steel tanks at approximately 13 degrees. Partial lees contact post fermentation for complexity and a small amount of pressings blended back for texture.
