Cooks Lot Sauvignon Blanc is made from premium cool climate fruit astutely sourced from the cool climate region of Orange and was gently pressed and cold fermented.
Bouquet and Palate of this Cooks Lot Sauvignon Blanc shows pristine varietal definition grassy, asparagus and tropical aromas following through to a crisp dry finish
Vintage
The 2009 Cooks Lot vintage experienced a good chilling period during the winter , a cool wet spring then 14 days of very hot weather in early summer but a cool harvest.
Vinification
Delicate pressing with mostly free run juice fermented in cold stainless steel tanks at approximately 13 degrees. Partial lees contact post fermentation for complexity.
The Cooks Lot Sauvignon Blanc was awarded 2 golds and 1 silver medal and was selected as:
